Movement is the ability to change position or place. Our body is designed to move in many wonderful ways. Every day, we use different parts of our body to move around and do activities.
Content
What is Movement? Movement means changing from one place to another or changing the position of our body parts. When we walk to school, wave our hands, or turn our heads, we are moving.
Body Parts That Help Us Move:
- Legs and Feet: These help us walk, run, jump, kick, and stand

- Arms and Hands: These help us reach, carry, throw, catch, and wave

- Head and Neck: These help us look around, nod yes, and shake no

- Back and Waist: These help us bend forward, backward, and twist

- Muscles: These are inside our body and make our bones move
Types of Basic Movements:
- Walking: Moving slowly by putting one foot in front of the other

2. Running: Moving fast by taking quick steps
