Introduction

Adding colors to our shape patterns makes them more beautiful and attractive. Today we will learn how to color patterns properly.

What is Colouring? Colouring is:

  • Adding colors to shapes and patterns
  • Making drawings look beautiful and bright
  • Using different colors to decorate
  • A way to make art more attractive

What are Colors? Colors are:

  • What we see when light hits objects
  • Different types like red, blue, yellow, green
  • Things that make the world beautiful
  • Used to express feelings and ideas

Basic Shapes with Suitable Colors:

  1. Sun (Circle) – Yellow or orange

Grass (Triangle/Rectangle) – Green

Sky (Rectangle) – Blue

  1. Flower (Circle) – Red, pink, purple
  2. Tree (Triangle + Rectangle) – Green leaves, brown trunk

How to Apply Colors on Shapes:

  1. Choose appropriate colors – match the object
  2. Color within lines – stay inside the shape
  3. Use different colors – make patterns interesting
  4. Press gently – don’t tear the paper
  5. Be neat and clean – make it look good

Color Patterns for Shapes:

  • Alternate colors: Red circle, blue circle, red circle…
  • Rainbow patterns: Use all colors in order
  • Warm colors: Red, orange, yellow together
  • Cool colors: Blue, green, purple together
