Arabic Text with Transliteration and Translation:
Verse 1: وَالتِّينِ وَالزَّيْتُونِ Transliteration: “Wat-tīni waz-zaytūn” Translation: “By the fig and the olive,”
Verse 2: وَطُورِ سِينِينَ Transliteration: “Wa tūri sīnīn” Translation: “And [by] Mount Sinai,”
Verse 3: وَهَٰذَا الْبَلَدِ الْأَمِينِ Transliteration: “Wa hādhāl-baladil-amīn” Translation: “And [by] this secure city,”
Verse 4: لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ فِي أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ Transliteration: “Laqad khalaqnāl-insāna fī ahsani taqwīm” Translation: “We have certainly created mankind in the best stature;”
Verse 5: ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَاهُ أَسْفَلَ سَافِلِينَ Transliteration: “Thumma radadnāhu asfala sāfilīn” Translation: “Then We return him to the lowest of the low,”
Verse 6: إِلَّا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ Transliteration: “Illal-ladhīna āmanū wa ‘amilus-sālihāti falahum ajrun ghayru mamnūn” Translation: “Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds, for they will have a reward uninterrupted.”
Verse 7: فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِالدِّينِ Transliteration: “Famā yukadhdhibuka ba’du bid-dīn” Translation: “So what yet causes you to deny the Recompense?”
Verse 8: أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ Transliteration: “Alaysa Allāhu bi-ahkami al-hākimīn” Translation: “Is not Allah the most just of judges?”
