Learning Objectives:

Lesson Content:

What is a Reward? A reward is something good given to someone because they have done something well or helpful. It’s a way of saying “thank you” for good work or behavior.

Examples of Rewards:

  • Getting a gift for helping someone
  • Receiving praise for good behavior
  • Getting a prize for winning a competition
  • Being promoted for hard work
  • Getting money for doing a job well

Why Rewards are Important:

  • They encourage people to do good things
  • They show appreciation for hard work
  • They motivate others to behave well
  • They make people feel valued and happy
  • They encourage continued good behavior

IMPORTANCE OF REWARDS:

  • They make important decisions that affect everyone
  • They represent the community with dignity

Class Activity:

Let pupils suggest ways they can reward good leaders in their school (like class monitors) and community. Create a “reward chart” showing different types of recognition.
