Kalmomin Godiya (Words of Thanks)

  • Na gode – Thank you
  • Na gode sosai – Thank you very much
  • Barka dai – Congratulations
  • Allah ya ba ka albarka – May God bless you

  • Gaskiya – Truthfulness
  • Amana – Honesty/Trust
  • Kirki – Kindness
  • Hakuri – Patience
  • Taimako – Helping others
  • Ladabi – Respect
  • Adabi – Good manners

A Gida (At Home)

  • Taimaki iyaye – Help parents
  • Tsabtace gida – Clean the house
  • Kula da kananan yara – Take care of younger children
  • Yi biyayya – Be obedient

A Makaranta (At School)

  • Gaisa da malamai – Greet teachers
  • Kula da abokani – Care for friends
