Number Patterns

• 20 = Ashirin
• 30 = Talatin
• 40 = Arba’in
• 50 = Hamsin
• Add “da” + number for in-between (da ɗaya, da biyu, etc.)

Using Numbers in Sentences

• Ina da littattafai ashirin da uku – I have 23 books
• Na ga motoci talatin – I saw 30 cars
• Akwai yara arba’in – There are 40 children
