Number Patterns
- 20 = Ashirin
- 30 = Talatin
- 40 = Arba’in
- 50 = Hamsin
- Add “da” + number for in-between (da É—aya, da biyu, etc.)
Using Numbers in Sentences
- Ina da littattafai ashirin da uku – I have 23 books
- Na ga motoci talatin – I saw 30 cars
- Akwai yara arba’in – There are 40 children
