4. COMPARING & ORDERING: Using < and >

Comparison Signs:

  • < means “less than” (smaller number)
  • > means “greater than” (bigger number)

Examples:

  • 5 < 8 (5 is less than 8)
  • 12 > 7 (12 is greater than 7)
  • 3 < 15 (3 is less than 15)
