Road Signs Passage

“Road signs help keep us safe. The red sign means STOP. The green sign means GO. The yellow sign means SLOW DOWN. When we see these signs, we must obey them. Traffic lights help cars and people move safely on the road.”
Common Road Signs
STOP Sign: Red octagon – all vehicles must stop Traffic Light: Red = stop, Yellow = slow down, Green = go Zebra Crossing: White stripes for people to cross safely Speed Limit: Numbers showing how fast cars can go
Road Safety Rules
- Always look both ways before crossing
- Use zebra crossings
- Walk on sidewalks
- Obey traffic lights
- Never play on the road
Road Problems
- Accidents from not following signs
- Traffic jams from broken lights
- Dangerous crossing without proper signs
