What is a Suspicious Movement? Suspicious movement is when people act in strange or unusual ways that make us think they might be planning something bad. It’s behavior that doesn’t look normal or right.
Examples of Suspicious Movement
In Your Neighborhood
- Someone walking around checking many door locks
- People looking through windows when owners aren’t home
- Someone hiding behind buildings or in bushes
- People taking photos of houses secretly
- Cars driving very slowly past houses many times
Around Your School
- Strangers standing near the school gate for long
- People trying to talk to children through the fence
- Someone following school children
- Adults who don’t have children at school hanging around
Signs to Watch For
- Moving around at very late hours (2am, 3am)
- Carrying big bags in strange ways
- Wearing heavy clothes in hot weather
- Running away when people see them
- Whispering and pointing at houses
- Pretending to be lost but refusing help
What to Do When You Notice Suspicious Movement
- Don’t Investigate Yourself – Stay safe indoors
- Tell an Adult Immediately – Your parents or teachers
- Call Security – Alert the guards or vigilantes
- Remember Details – What they wore, their height, what they did
- Stay Alert – Keep watching from a safe place
