- Apply the lessons derived to daily activities
Materials Needed
- Story book about Prophet Mūsā
- Pictures of baby in basket and river
- Simple staff/stick for demonstration
- Map showing Egypt
Introduction
- Greet with “Assalamu Alaikum”
- Ask: “Who knows about a Prophet who had a magic stick?”
- Tell pupils about Prophet Mūsā (Moses)
- Explain he is one of the greatest Prophets

The Birth of Prophet Mūsā
The Situation in Egypt:
- Prophet Mūsā was born in Egypt
- The king was called Fir’awn (Pharaoh)
- Fir’awn was very cruel and evil
- He made the children of Israel (Banū Isrā’īl) his slaves
Fir’awn’s Evil Plan:
- A wise man told Fir’awn: “A baby will be born who will defeat you”
- Fir’awn became scared and angry
- He ordered: “Kill all baby boys born to Banū Isrā’īl”
- This was a terrible and evil command
The Miraculous Birth:
- Mūsā’s mother was pregnant during this dangerous time
- When baby Mūsā was born, she was very worried
- Allah inspired her with an amazing plan
- She would save her baby in a special way
The Basket in the River
Allah’s Plan:
- Allah told Mūsā’s mother through inspiration
- “Put your baby in a basket”
- “Place the basket in the river”
- “Don’t worry, I will bring him back to you”
The Amazing Journey:
- Mūsā’s mother put baby Mūsā in a waterproof basket
- She placed the basket in the River Nile
- The basket floated down the river
- Allah protected baby Mūsā during the journey
Found by Fir’awn’s Family:
- The basket reached Fir’awn’s palace
- Fir’awn’s wife found the baby
- She fell in love with beautiful baby Mūsā
- She said to Fir’awn: “Let’s keep this baby”
Growing Up in the Palace
Allah’s Protection:
- Baby Mūsā wouldn’t drink milk from anyone
- Mūsā’s sister was watching from far away
- She suggested: “I know someone who can feed the baby”
- She brought Mūsā’s real mother to the palace
Back with His Mother:
- Mūsā’s mother came to the palace as a nurse
- Baby Mūsā drank milk happily from his real mother
- Allah kept His promise and returned Mūsā to his mother
- She got paid for nursing her own baby!
Growing Up:
- Mūsā grew up strong and intelligent
- He lived in Fir’awn’s palace but knew his real family
- He saw how cruelly Fir’awn treated the children of Israel
- He always helped oppressed people
Prophet Mūsā’s Prophethood
The Burning Bush:
- When Mūsā became a man, he was traveling in the desert
- He saw a fire burning on a mountain
- When he went closer, he heard Allah’s voice
- Allah called him from the burning bush
Allah’s Message:
- Allah said: “O Mūsā, I am Allah, your Lord”
- “Take off your shoes, you are on holy ground”
- “I have chosen you to be My Prophet”
- “Go to Fir’awn and tell him to free My people”
The Miraculous Staff:
- Allah gave Mūsā a wooden staff (stick)
- When he threw it down, it became a big snake
- When he picked it up, it became a stick again
- This was a miracle to prove he was Allah’s Prophet
Prophet Mūsā’s Relationship with Fir’awn
The First Meeting:
- Mūsā went to Fir’awn with Allah’s message
- He said: “Let the children of Israel go free”
- “Stop making them slaves”
- “Worship Allah alone, not yourself”
Fir’awn’s Arrogance:
- Fir’awn was very proud and refused
- He said: “I am your god, not Allah”
- He became angry with Mūsā
- He threatened to punish him
The Miracles (Signs):
- Allah gave Mūsā nine clear miracles
- The staff turning into a snake
- His hand glowing white
- Plagues of locusts, frogs, and lice
- Turning water into blood
- Each miracle showed Allah’s power
Fir’awn’s Stubbornness:
- Despite seeing all the miracles, Fir’awn refused to believe
- He continued to oppress the children of Israel
- He claimed he was god and demanded worship
- His pride and evil heart made him reject the truth
The Great Escape
Leaving Egypt:
- Finally, Allah commanded Mūsā to leave Egypt with his people
- They left at night when Fir’awn wasn’t watching
- They walked toward the Red Sea
- Fir’awn discovered they had escaped and chased them
The Miracle of the Sea:
- The children of Israel reached the Red Sea
- Fir’awn’s army was coming fast behind them
- Allah told Mūsā to strike the sea with his staff
- The sea split into two parts, making a dry path
Fir’awn’s End:
- The children of Israel crossed safely
- When Fir’awn and his army tried to follow
- The sea closed back and they all drowned
- Allah saved the believers and punished the evil king
Lessons from Prophet Mūsā’s Life
Important Lessons for Daily Life
- Trust in Allah:
- Mūsā’s mother trusted Allah completely
- Even when the plan seemed scary, she had faith
- We should trust Allah when facing problems
- Allah Protects the Innocent:
- Baby Mūsā was protected from Fir’awn’s evil plan
- Allah has many ways to save good people
- Never give up hope in Allah’s help
- Stand Against Oppression:
- Mūsā always helped people who were treated badly
- We should help classmates who are bullied
- Always stand up for what is right
- Humility vs. Pride:
- Mūsā was humble and obeyed Allah
- Fir’awn was proud and thought he was god
- Pride leads to destruction, humility brings success
- Miracles Come from Allah:
- Mūsā’s staff was powerful because of Allah
- All power belongs to Allah alone
- We should ask Allah for help, not depend only on ourselves
