Topic: Attributes Of Allah (Swt): 41-50

Allah (SWT) has many perfect names and attributes that help us understand who He is. In Islam, Muslims believe that Allah has 99 beautiful names, each describing one of His qualities. Learning these names helps Muslims know Allah better and grow closer to Him. This lesson will teach about attributes 41-50 of Allah in simple words. We will explain what each attribute means and how it affects our daily lives.

Attribute 41: Al-Hafiz (The Preserver)

Allah is Al-Hafiz, which means “The Preserver” or “The Protector.” This name tells us that Allah protects and preserves all things. He guards the heavens and the earth. He keeps track of all our deeds for the Day of Judgment. Nothing is lost with Allah.

How this affects our lives:

– Allah protects us from many dangers we don’t even know about

– Allah preserves our good deeds, not letting any go to waste

– We should ask Allah for His protection in our daily prayers

The Quran says: “And Allah is the best guardian, and He is the most merciful of those who show mercy.” (Surah Yusuf, 12:64)

Attribute 42: Al-Muqit (The Sustainer)

Allah is Al-Muqit, which means “The Sustainer” or “The Provider of Nourishment.” Allah provides all living things with what they need to survive. He gives us food, water, air, and everything necessary for life.

How this affects our lives:

– We should thank Allah for the food and drink we receive

– We should trust that Allah will provide for our needs

– We should share what Allah has given us with others who are in need

The Quran says: “And Allah is powerful over all things and Al-Muqit (the sustainer of all).” (Surah An-Nisa, 4:85)

Attribute 43: Al-Hasib (The Reckoner)

Allah is Al-Hasib, which means “The Reckoner” or “The One Who Takes Account.” Allah keeps perfect count of everything we do, say, and think. On the Day of Judgment, He will reckon with each person about their deeds.

How this affects our lives:

– We should be careful about our actions, knowing Allah is counting them

– We can trust that no good deed will be forgotten by Allah

– We should regularly check our own actions before Allah takes account of them

The Quran says: “And sufficient is Allah as Al-Hasib (a reckoner).” (Surah An-Nisa, 4:6)

Attribute 44: Al-Jalil (The Majestic)

Allah is Al-Jalil, which means “The Majestic” or “The Sublime.” This name describes Allah’s greatness, glory, and majesty. Allah’s majesty is beyond our imagination and understanding.

How this affects our lives:

– We should worship Allah with reverence and awe

– We should recognize that Allah deserves our highest respect

– When we see beautiful and majestic things in nature, we should remember that Allah’s majesty is far greater

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) often praised Allah saying: “Glory be to Allah, the Magnificent.”

Attribute 45: Al-Karim (The Generous)

Allah is Al-Karim, which means “The Generous” or “The Noble.” Allah gives freely without expecting anything in return. His generosity is unlimited and continuous. He gives even to those who don’t ask and to those who don’t believe in Him.

How this affects our lives:

– We should be grateful for Allah’s many gifts to us

– We should try to be generous with others, following Allah’s example

– We should turn to Allah when we need anything, knowing His generosity is vast

Attribute 46: Ar-Raqib (The Watchful)

Allah is Ar-Raqib, which means “The Watchful” or “The Observer.” Allah watches over all His creation at all times. Nothing escapes His attention, not even the smallest action or thought.

How this affects our lives:

– We should be mindful that Allah is always watching us

– We can feel secure knowing Allah is watching over us with care

– We should watch our own behavior, knowing that Allah sees everything

The Quran says: “Indeed, Allah is ever, over you, Ar-Raqib (an observer).” (Surah An-Nisa, 4:1)

Attribute 47: Al-Mujib (The Responsive)

Allah is Al-Mujib, which means “The Responsive” or “The One Who Answers.” Allah answers the prayers and calls of His servants. When we sincerely ask Allah for help, He responds to our needs in the best way.

How this affects our lives:

– We should turn to Allah in prayer, confident that He hears us

– We should be patient after making dua (supplication), knowing Allah answers in His perfect timing

– We should help others when they ask us, just as Allah responds to us

The Quran says: “Call upon your Lord in humility and privately; indeed, He does not like transgressors. And do not cause corruption upon the earth after its reformation. And invoke Him in fear and aspiration. Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good.” (Surah Al-A’raf, 7:55-56)

 Attribute 48: Al-Wasi’ (The All-Encompassing)

Allah is Al-Wasi’, which means “The All-Encompassing” or “The Vast.” Allah’s knowledge, mercy, and power are unlimited and encompass everything. Nothing is beyond His reach or capacity.

Allah is Al-Hakim, which means “The Wise” or “The All-Wise.” Allah’s wisdom is perfect. Everything He does has purpose and meaning, even when we don’t understand it. His laws and commands are based on perfect wisdom.

How this affects our lives:

Attribute 50: Al-Wadud (The Loving)

Allah is Al-Wadud, which means “The Loving” or “The Affectionate.” Allah loves His creation, especially those who believe in Him and do good deeds. His love is pure and perfect, far greater than any human love.
