SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to
- State the reasons for international trading
REASONS FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADING
- Because the local/domestic market may already be saturated
- to take advantage of an innovative world product
- to enjoy financing benefits from setting up manufacturing and assembling bases in certain overseas countries bringing about access to the trading block to which that country belongs
- to increase the overall total profits
- To take advantage of favourable government and economic policies of the developed countries
