Topic: Types Of Display Headings
A display heading is a prominent text element that is used to introduce or highlight the main topic.
Types of heading
- Main heading: – this is the primary heading of a document and it is usually located at the top of the page and should accurately reflect the main topic or theme of the content.
- Subheading: – is a secondary heading that is used to break up the content into smaller sections. It can serve a variety of purposes, such as
- Introducing a new subtopic within a larger section of context
- Providing additional context or detail to the main heading
- Summarizing the content that follows d. Highlighting key points or takeaways from the content
- Shoulder heading: – it is not a commonly used term in the context of headings, it may refer to a type of heading that appears alongside the main heading. However, this is not a widely recognized term.
- Side heading: – is a term that can refer to a heading that is positioned to the side of the main content. This type of heading is often used in documents or publications with a two-column layout.
