Topic: Types Of Display Headings

A display heading is a prominent text element that is used to introduce or highlight the main topic. 

Types of heading 

  1. Main heading: – this is the primary heading of a document and it is usually located at the top of the page and should accurately reflect the main topic or theme of the content. 
  2. Subheading: – is a secondary heading that is used to break up the content into smaller sections. It can serve a variety of purposes, such as 
  3. Introducing a new subtopic within a larger section of context 
  4. Providing additional context or detail to the main heading 
  5. Summarizing the content that follows d. Highlighting key points or takeaways from the content 
  6. Shoulder heading: – it is not a commonly used term in the context of headings, it may refer to a type of heading that appears alongside the main heading. However, this is not a widely recognized term. 
  7. Side heading: – is a term that can refer to a heading that is positioned to the side of the main content. This type of heading is often used in documents or publications with a two-column layout.
