Pattern 1: Onye + Na-eme + Ihe

• Ada na-ede akwụkwọ – Ada is writing a book
• Emeka na-agụ akwụkwọ – Emeka is reading a book
• Nne na-esi nri – Mother is cooking food
• Nna na-arụ ọrụ – Father is working

Pattern 2: Onye + Nwere + Ihe

• M nwere ego – I have money
• Ọ nwere ụgbọala – He/she has a car
• Anyị nwere ụlọ – We have a house
• Ha nwere ụmụ – They have children

Pattern 3: Ihe + Dị + Ebe

• Akwụkwọ dị na tebụl – Book is on the table
• Nkịta dị n’ụlọ – Dog is in the house
• Mmiri dị n’ite – Water is in the pot
• Uwe dị n’akpa – Clothes are in the bag
