How to Give Instructions (Otu Esi Enye Iwu)

Polite Commands (Iwu Nwayọ)

  • Biko + command: Biko bilie (Please stand up)
  • Ga + command: Ga dee ya (Go and write it)
  • Ka + person + command: Ka Emeka bịa (Let Emeka come)

Urgent Commands (Iwu Ngwa Ngwa)

  • Ngwa ngwa + command: Ngwa ngwa bịa! (Come quickly!)
  • Ozugbo + command: Bilie ozugbo! (Stand up immediately!)

Example Sequence (Ihe Atụ)

Iwu: “Bilie, gaa na bọọdụ, dee aha gị, bịa nọdụ ala”

Nzọụkwụ:

  1. Bilie – Student stands up
  2. Gaa na bọọdụ – Student goes to the board

  4. Bịa nọdụ ala – Student comes back and sits
