Lesson Content:

What is Forgiveness? Forgiveness is the act of choosing to let go of anger, resentment, or desire for revenge against someone who has hurt or wronged you. It means deciding not to hold grudges and giving people second chances to do better.

Why Forgiveness is Important:

  • Brings peace to your heart and mind
  • Heals broken relationships
  • Prevents conflicts from continuing
  • Creates harmony in families and communities
  • Helps people learn from their mistakes

Attributes of Forgiveness:

  1. LETTING GO OF ANGER Meaning: Choosing to release feelings of anger and hatred toward someone who hurt you.

Examples:

  • Letting go of hurt when someone disappoints you
