What is KAI (Kick Against Indiscipline)? KAI stands for “Kick Against Indiscipline.” It is a special task force created by Lagos State Government to maintain order, cleanliness, and discipline in Lagos State.
Full Meaning of KAI:
- K = Kick
- A = Against
- I = Indiscipline
KAI Uniform and Identification:
- Blue and white uniform
- KAI badge and logo
- Official KAI vehicles
- ID cards for identification
- Sometimes work with other security agencies
Main Duties of KAI:
- Environmental Sanitation:
- Stop people from dumping refuse in wrong places
- Ensure people dispose of waste properly
- Keep Lagos clean and beautiful
- Remove illegal structures and shanties
- Clear drainage systems of blockages
- Traffic and Street Discipline:
- Stop street trading in unauthorized areas
