NOTE

ADVANTAGES OF CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRACY

  1. it allows people to choose their leaders
  2. It leads to a smooth transition of government
  3. The fundamental human rights of the citizens are protected
  4. it brings about an accountable governance
  5. it promotes popular participation 

DISADVANTAGES OF CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRACY

  1. There is quite a lot of delay in making policies since they must follow due process
  2. The minority cannot have their way
  3. The non-performing elected officials cannot be removed till it is time for elections
  4. it is expensive to run
