LESSON CONTENT

What is Obedience?

Obedience means doing what you are told to do.

It means listening and following instructions from people in charge.

When we obey, we show respect and good behavior.

Types of Obedience:

1. OBEDIENCE AT HOME

We should obey our parents and elders

Examples:

• Do your homework when told
• Clean your room when asked
• Come home on time
• Help with house work
• Go to bed when told
• Eat your food properly

2. OBEDIENCE AT SCHOOL

We should obey our teachers and school rules

Examples:

• Listen when teacher is talking
• Do your class work
• Keep your classroom clean
• Line up properly
• Raise your hand before speaking
• Come to school on time

3. OBEDIENCE TO GOD

We should obey God’s commands

Examples:

• Pray to God regularly
• Be kind to other people
• Tell the truth always
• Help those who need help
• Love your family and friends
• Go to church or mosque

Benefits of Obedience:

• People love and respect us
• We stay safe and happy
• We learn good behavior
• God blesses us
• We become good citizens

Obedience makes us better children and helps us grow into good adults.
