NOTE
ADVANTAGES OF CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRACY
- it allows people to choose their leaders
- It leads to a smooth transition of government
- The fundamental human rights of the citizens are protected
- it brings about an accountable governance
- it promotes popular participation
DISADVANTAGES OF CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRACY
- There is quite a lot of delay in making policies since they must follow due process
- The minority cannot have their way
- The non-performing elected officials cannot be removed till it is time for elections
- it is expensive to run
