MINERAL PRODUCTS

Mineral products also known as gifts of nature are housed beneath the soil.

In putting them to use, a high level of technical expertise is required to refine and process them into other physical products. Some examples of mineral products include coal, copper, iron ore, etc

OIL PRODUCTS

Oil products are lubricants essential and highly instrumental to the economic growth and development of many nations of the world.

An example of an oil product is petroleum which when further refined can be made into kerosene, diesel, bitumen etc

NON-OIL PRODUCTS

Non-oil products are other natural products which are used as raw materials and major components in the production of other commodities. Some examples are zinc, coal, copper etc.

DIFFERENCES BETWEEN OIL AND NON-OIL PRODUCTS

  1. Oil products are used for industrial, home equipment and machinery while non-oil products are used in laboratories by scientists, agriculturists and researchers.
  1. Oil products are lubricants while non-oil products are essential materials used in producing other commodities.
