Topic: Continuous Writing: Informal Letters

Informal letters are private or personal letters. They are letters we write to people who are very familiar and close to us, such as our parents, friends, classmates, younger relatives, etc.

FEATURES OF AN INFORMAL LETTER

  • The writer’s address with date
  • The salutation
  • The body of the letter
  • The introduction
  • The main points. The conclusion.
  • The ending of the letter/subscript

ASSIGNMENT 

Write a informal letter to your friend who is studying in another country, telling him/her about some problems you are facing in your school and at home, asking him/her to suggest how the problems can be solved.
