Computer Ethics SS1 Data Processing Lesson Note

Ethics are sets of moral principles that govern the behaviour of a group or individuals. Computer ethics is a set of moral principles that regulate the use of computers. Some Computer room management ethics include: 

1. Maintaining a dust-free environment.
2. Appropriate ventilation.
3. Appropriate lighting system.
4. Setting computer before the students

LABORATORY RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. Students are prohibited from entering the lab unless authorized by the teacher.
2. Scan the disk and another storage device before using them.
3. Report all problems/ incidents related to systems to the teacher.
4. Do not attempt to repair or tamper with lab equipment.

5. Be responsible when using equipment.

6. Do not remove any equipment from its original position.
