THE ANGELS

Angels are special creatures created by Allah. They are:

• Made of light
• Invisible to human eyes
• Always obey Allah
• Cannot do bad things
• Work hard to do Allah’s commands

1. They Were Created by Allah

• Allah made angels before humans
• They have no free will like humans
• They always do what Allah tells them
• They worship and praise Allah all the time

• Angels live in a world we cannot see
• They are everywhere, but invisible
• They do not have bodies like humans
• They can take different forms if Allah allows

The Most Famous Angels

1. Jibreel (Gabriel)

• The most important angel
• Brings messages from Allah to prophets
• Brought the Quran to Prophet Muhammad
• Helps prophets and good people
• Very strong and powerful

2. Mikail (Michael)

• In charge of rain and plants
• Gives food and water to living things
• Helps people get what they need
• Works to make sure everything grows

3. Israfil

• Will blow the trumpet on the Day of Judgment
• Announces the end of the world
• Signals the time when all people will be judged
• Plays a very important role in the final days

4. Izrail (Angel of Death)

• Takes people’s souls when it is time to die
• Works by Allah’s command
• Not scary, but doing Allah’s work
• Treats everyone fairly

What Angels Do

1. Worship Allah

• Praise Allah all the time
• Never get tired
• Always remember Allah
• Sing Allah’s glory

• Guard people
• Write down good and bad deeds
• Help good people
• Keep away from bad things

1. Carry Out Special Jobs

• Bring rain
• Help plants grow
• Protect the earth
• Manage natural things
• Follow Allah’s instructions exactly
